Sara specializes in illustrative 'traditional-ish' style tattoos. I enjoy working with bold lines and bright colors in a variety of subject matter including cats, monsters, floral designs, girls girls girls, and mandalas.A lifelong New Yorker and nonconformist, Sara has been grinding out art in many commercial fields for over a decade. As a young art school graduate, she worked as a product photographer for collectible art-toy powerhouse Kidrobot; she also designed a few Dunnys and an original vinyl figure, El Chupacabra (ghost and regular edition). Her next role was as an artist assistant to Tara McPherson; at the same time, she apprenticed under Adam Suerte and Willie Paredes at Brooklyn Tattoo. All the while, she was drawing—illustrating for clients like Mishka NYC, Topps and Mastodon/Global Merch Services, showing in galleries such as Last Rites, MF Gallery, and Cotton Candy Machine, and sketching out her next client's tattoo.Currently, Sara works at Brooklyn Tattoo and often travels to guest spots and conventions around the USA. Follow her on instagram, she may be coming to your town!
